Terra Nova to host open house during Farwest Show

Terra Nova Nurseries will host its 2025 Open House from August 18–22 at its Canby, Oregon, facility, coinciding with the Farwest Show in Portland.

Located about 35 minutes from the Oregon Convention Center, the open house will give nursery professionals, growers and brokers an opportunity to preview Terra Nova’s newest plant introductions. Attendees can explore display gardens, speak with breeders and sales staff, and participate in daily giveaways.

“The Farwest Show draws many of the industry’s trade professionals to the Pacific Northwest, making it the ideal time to unveil our latest innovations in plant breeding a short drive from the show,” said Chuck Pavlich, director of new product development at Terra Nova Nurseries.

The event is designed to showcase Terra Nova’s ongoing work in breeding commercially viable plant varieties, and it gives visitors a chance to see those varieties in real-world display settings. Complimentary refreshments will also be available throughout the week.

Terra Nova encourages Farwest Show attendees and other industry professionals traveling through Oregon’s nursery region to visit the open house for an up-close look at its breeding program.

Open house dates and times (PDT):

• Monday, Aug. 18 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Tuesday, Aug. 19 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Wednesday, Aug. 20 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Thursday, Aug. 21 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Friday, Aug. 22 by appointment only from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
