Indoor Ag-Con sets 2026 finance keynote

Indoor Ag-Con has announced its Day Two keynote for the 2026 conference, scheduled for Feb. 11–12 in Las Vegas. The session, “The State of CEA Finance: Capital Flows, Discipline, and Lessons Learned,” will be held Feb. 12 and will feature Dave Chen, co-founder and CEO of Equilibrium, and David Verbitsky, president and managing director of Verbitsky Capital.

The discussion will address financial trends shaping controlled environment agriculture, including how capital is moving through the sector, the evolution of financing discipline since early expansion years and the risks tied to rapid scaling. Organizers said the session is intended to help operators, suppliers and partners understand the financial pressures influencing CEA facilities.

“Finance continues to be one of the most important and closely watched aspects of controlled environment agriculture,” said Brian Sullivan, CEO of Indoor Ag-Con. He said the keynote will provide a practical perspective for navigating the current investment landscape.

Indoor Ag-Con’s programming will include 11 educational tracks covering topics such as vine crops, mushrooms, berries, lettuce and herbs, conventional agriculture, food safety and cannabis. The event will also feature an expo floor with CEA technologies and solutions, along with networking opportunities for growers and industry stakeholders.

Financial strategy has become an increasingly important factor for greenhouse growers and vertical farm operators as they evaluate capital needs, energy costs and long-term business models. The keynote aims to provide insights to support those decisions.
