MGS is used for crops such as lettuce, herbs and other leafy greens, optimizing space and enhancing plant growth. The system allows for better resource management and labor efficiency, addressing key challenges faced by greenhouse growers.

David Stienes, AdeptAg’s CEO, emphasized the benefits of this partnership. “North American leafy green, vegetable and herb producers face the challenge of finding reliable growing systems that keep them competitive in the market for years to come. We know our partnership with

FGM’s moving gutter systems will enable us to provide the most comprehensive solution on the market, along with the ability to maintain and service that technology throughout its lifecycle.”

One key advantage of this agreement is the availability of domestic support. Many North American users of moving gutter systems previously relied on overseas assistance. Through AdeptAg, growers will now have direct access to on-site service and maintenance.

AdeptAg’s network — including Agrinomix, Zwart Irrigation and Plantech Controls — will contribute expertise to the implementation of MGS. The company’s offerings also include irrigation, water treatment, seeding, propagation and automation solutions, further supporting the greenhouse industry.
