BioWorks highlights microbial tools
BioWorks is sharing new resources for greenhouse and nursery growers focused on microbial solutions for plant health and pest management.
The company recently released a webinar titled: Biofungicides – What Else Can Microbials Do For You? The session, presented by Michael Brownbridge, senior technical services manager, explores the benefits of microbes in greenhouse tomato production and plant health programs. The full recording is available on BioWorks’ YouTube channel.
BioWorks also introduced Principle WP, a bioinsecticide formulated with Beauveria bassiana. The OMRI-listed product is designed to offer solubility and lower residue while providing control of crop pests including thrips, aphids and whiteflies.
“Principle WP builds on decades of technical knowledge gained from working with Beauveria bassiana,” the company stated in its announcement. The product is intended for use as part of integrated pest management programs.
