BioWorks Introduces New Fertilizer
BioWorks has released its new Verdanta N-Vita 9-4-3 fertilizer, a homogeneous, granular, compound fertilizer with a high nitrogen mix derived from 100 percent organic sources.
The increased nitrogen promotes foliar growth in many crops, according to the company. It can be used for potting mixes, leafy vegetables, top dressing for fruiting vegetables, and all ornamentals.
N-Vita provides continuous nutrient availability for up to 100 days. Nutrients are gradually released by soil microbes and production of humus for better rooting and less leaching.
The fertilizer also features MINIGRAN technology. Developed by DCM Corp. of Belgium, MINIGRAN delivers user-friendly, low odor, low dust, microgranules.
“N-Vita will be an important tool for many of our growers,” said Joe Gionta, director of marketing and sales. “The higher nitrogen formula will be ideal for organic growers and other key customers as a base fertilizer or top dressing.”
