EHR Unveils ’21 New Varieties Report; Adds Nursery, Logistics Specialist
Eason Horticultural Resources has announced the release of its 2021 edition of the New Varieties Report. Previously the company released this publication strictly to cover the California Spring Trials, however, due to the travel challenges over the last 18 months the title has been adjusted. Additionally, this allowed the team to broaden the scope to include varieties that may have been released after CAST 2021 and feature introductions based on trial performance across the country.
Compiled by members of the EHR office team and their national sales reps that took part in breeder video conferences and visited various trial sites, this year’s edition features genetics from all of the breeding companies that would have normally hosted the EHR team at the California Spring Trials.
This is EHR’s 17th year producing a report on the California Spring Trials, and it has become a ‘”must-have” for the independent grower because of the independent opinions and not being aligned with any specific genetics.

Eason Horticultural Resources also announced that the company has hired Kevin as nursery sales and logistics specialist. Kevin spent his last few years as assistant nursery manager at McHutchison. Prior to that, he was a supervisor for a large commercial landscape company and worked in garden center sales as well.
