PDSI announces staff promotions and hires
Plant Development Services has announced new hires and promotions aimed at strengthening its production and marketing teams that support greenhouse and nursery growers.

Josh Geiger has joined the company as propagation manager. Geiger brings nearly a decade of horticultural production experience, including management roles at Flowerwood Nursery, and will oversee plant propagation for brands including Southern Living Plant Collection, Encore Azalea, Sunset Plant Collection, Better Boxwood and Butterfly Candy Buddleia. He began his new role in October.

In the marketing department, Nicole Keppel has been promoted to social media and content manager. Keppel, who has been with the company for three years, has led online engagement growth and launched social media platforms for new brand introductions. In her expanded role, she will continue building PDSI’s digital presence and outreach to growers and consumers.

Additionally, Kate Pierce joined as marketing assistant in June. Pierce previously interned with the marketing team and brings advanced training in cognitive psychology and psycholinguistics, which she applies to communications and strategy.
“These new roles reflect the experience and fresh talent driving the company’s continued success,” Plant Development Services said in its announcement.
