Proven Winners announces 11th annual horticulture scholarships

Proven Winners is accepting applications for its 11th annual Horticulture Scholarship program, offering financial support to students pursuing careers in horticulture. Scholarships range from $2,000 to $5,000 and are available to both undergraduate and graduate students.

The program awards scholarships in several categories, including three four-year university scholarships in plant breeding, horticultural marketing, and grower excellence.

The Ushio Sakazaki: Proven Winners Plant Breeding Scholarship is intended for students interested in developing new plant varieties. The Proven Winners Innovations in Horticultural Marketing Scholarship targets students passionate about plants and skilled in marketing them. The Rick Schoellhorn: Proven Winners Grower Excellence Scholarship is for students pursuing careers in plant production.

Additionally, five two-year or post-secondary scholarships are available to full-time students enrolled in accredited U.S. or Canadian institutions, studying horticultural science or related fields.
