Sakata Home Grown Expands Offerings, Releases Catalog

Sakata Home Grown has expanded its offerings to more than 150 vegetable varieties in 33 crop classes covering all seasons – cool, warm and hot. Sakata also just released its Home Grown catalog featuring its latest vegetable varieties.

Varieties in the expanded Home Grown lineup were selected to be easy to grow, healthy and beautiful for home gardens of any size.

Now in its second year, Sakata Home Grown distributes seed via wholesale dealers to greenhouse growers, seed packet and mail-order customers, and smaller produce growers across the United States and Canada.

Sakata Home Grown also has released its catalog for wholesale customers and growers. This 50-page resource contains varieties from arugula to watermelon. The catalog includes informative descriptions, charts and images to help customers plus, ‘Healthy Hints’ scattered throughout the catalog remind readers about vegetable nutrition, storage and cooking.
