Scholarships for floriculture, horticulture students open
The American Floral Endowment (AFE) is accepting applications for over 30 scholarships aimed at undergraduate and graduate students pursuing careers in floriculture and horticulture. The application deadline is May 1.
Scholarships, ranging from $500 to $6,000, are divided into three categories: undergraduate-only, undergraduate or graduate, and graduate-only awards. Eligibility criteria include a minimum GPA of 2.0 and enrollment in an accredited educational institution in the U.S. or Canada. Applicants must also be U.S. or Canadian citizens or residents.
Descriptions of available scholarships, application details, and requirements can be found on the AFE scholarship platform. “These scholarships are a valuable resource for students committed to advancing the horticulture and floriculture industries,” said Candice Musgrove, who is available for inquiries at cmusgrove@afeendowment.org.
