Source.ag launches harvest data API for growers

Source.ag has introduced the Source API for Harvest, designed to streamline data sharing among vegetable growers, cooperatives and sales organizations. The tool provides real-time harvest data, improving collaboration and decision-making across the horticulture industry.

The API integrates with Source Cultivate, enhancing yield forecasts and ensuring accurate, efficient data sharing. When growers update forecasts in Source Cultivate, these updates automatically become accessible via the API, enabling cooperatives to adjust supply plans to meet market demands effectively.

Adriaan van der Feltz, group product manager at Source.ag, highlighted the API’s impact: “The Source API for Harvest represents a major leap forward in collaboration across the horticultural value chain. It streamlines communication from growers to sales organizations through precise data sharing.”
