Every fall for the past 25 years, GPN and Prospiant have been recognizing outstanding college students with the GPN/Prospiant Intern of the Year Scholarship.

2025 GPN/Prospiant Intern of the Year
Here is a reminder of what the GPN/Prospiant Intern of the Year will receive:
- A check for $3,000
- An article featuring them in the January 2025 issue of GPN
- Travel and hotel expenses to Cultivate’25 in Columbus, Ohio, in July, with a full Cultivate’25 registration (compliments of AmericanHort).
Student requirements
To be considered for the 2025 scholarship, the student must meet these requirements:
- Must be enrolled in a four-year accredited university during 2023-2024 and 2024-2025;
- Must be working on an undergraduate degree in horticulture/floriculture; and
- Have completed a greenhouse-related internship
in 2024.
To apply for the 2024 GPN/Prospiant Intern of the Year Scholarship the student needs to fill out the form below.
The deadline to apply is Nov. 1.
