PLANET Names New AEF AmbassadorSource: PLANET

The Professional Landcare Network (PLANET) recently announced that Tom Fochtman and Jesus Medrano, owners of CoCal Landscape, with locations throughout Colorado, have pledged $25,000 to the ALCA Educational Foundation (AEF) scholarship fund. Pledging at this amount level distinguishes CoCal Landscape as an AEF Ambassador.

The AEF fund was created to award scholarships and fund educational activities for the green industry. AEF Ambassadors are entitled to name and establish the criteria for their scholarships.

The CoCal Landscape Scholarship was created in 2006 to assist students earning a degree and striving for a career in the landscaping profession. Additionally, an internship with CoCal Landscape is available if the scholarship recipient wishes to complete an internship and work in Colorado. CoCal Landscape, which was established in 1992, has won numerous local and national awards for its quality landscapes and is considered one of Colorado’s paramount landscape companies.
