BioWorks Fungicide Gets OMRI ListingSource: BioWorks

BioWorks recently announced that the Organic Materials Review Institute has approved its biological fungicide RootShield PLUS for use in organic production.

BioWorks recently announced that the Organic Materials Review Institute (OMRI) has reviewed the company’s EPA registered biological fungicide RootShield PLUS (both Granules and WP), and approved the products for use in organic production.

RootShield PLUS contains two active ingredients: Trichoderma harzianum strain T-22, and Trichoderma virens strain G-41, and provides preventative control of soilborne Phytophthora, improved control of hot-season Pythium (P. aphanidermatum), as well as other prevalent root diseases caused by Rhizoctonia, Fusarium, Pythium, Thielaviopsis and Cylindrocladium.
