Marengo Now Labeled for Use on Greenhouse FloorsSource: OHP Inc.

OHP Inc. announced that Marengo liquid pre-emergent herbicide is now labeled for use on greenhouse floors.

OHP Inc. announced that Marengo liquid pre-emergent herbicide is now labeled for use on greenhouse floors. The new use pattern allows growers to apply under benches, on ground cloth, on gravel areas and on dirt floors in greenhouse structures. Launched in 2013, Marengo has become widely used due to its plant safety, efficacy, and long-term residual control of both broadleaf and grassy weeds.

Marengo contains the active ingredient indaziflam, the first from a new Mode of Action (MOA) Group 29. Greenhouses should be clean and empty of any desirable plants before the application is made.

Marengo may also be applied in hoophouses and shadehouses, in field growing situations, on ornamental production sites such as mum fields, and on hardscape areas of nurseries and greenhouse operations.

State registrations for the new use pattern are pending.
