New VP Named at Sakata
John Nelson as has been named vice president of Sakata America Holding Company and its primary operating subsidiary of Sakata Seed America, effective Sept. 1.
Nelson currently is the senior director of sales and marketing at Sakata Seed America, a position he’s held since 2004.
“I am truly looking forward to the next phase of my career. This industry has a lot to offer globally and Sakata will continue to be a major contributor to the well-being of our distributors, growers and consumers.” says Nelson.
Nelson joined Sakata Seed America in November 1990 to manage advertising for vegetables and ornamentals. Over the years, as his involvement grew into the sales arena, his focus shifted to vegetables.
In 2004, Nelson took on the responsibility of director of sales and marketing for Sakata.
The company is actively recruiting to fill the position of senior sales and marketing manager, Vegetables.
