Year-Round Read: Ryan’s favorite book is “The Ecke Poinsettia Manual.” “I’ve been growing poinsettia crops for 15 years and, at some point each time, I take this book out and learn something new.”

Born in Borneo: Ryan was born in the interior part of the island in a small village. His dad was a bush pilot in Indonesia at the time.
