Dutch company earns certification for spent substrate
The Dutch company Comgoed has become the first organization to receive RHP Consumer certification for spent substrate, a material used in horticulture. The certification ensures that the company meets the standards outlined in the RHP Product Certification Scheme.
RHP, an international quality mark for raw materials in growing media, confirmed that Comgoed passed inspections conducted by the certification body. The approval highlights the company’s compliance with strict quality and safety guidelines for horticultural applications.
The milestone also marks RHP’s expansion, with a total of 75 certified companies now part of its network worldwide.
The certification supports greenhouse growers and other professionals by ensuring the materials they use meet consistent, verified standards.
