Indoor Ag-Con celebrated inaugural cultivating excellence awards

Indoor Ag-Con and Inside Grower magazine announced the winners of the first Cultivating Excellence Awards (CEAs) on March 11 at a luncheon during Indoor Ag-Con in Las Vegas. The awards recognize innovation and leadership in controlled environment agriculture (CEA) across three categories.

Little Leaf Farms, based in Massachusetts and Pennsylvania, won the Operational Excellence award for its advancements in greenhouse operations. The Good Stewardship award went to 80 Acres Farms in Ohio for its sustainable practices. The Product Innovation award recognized CE-Line for its contributions to agricultural technology.

“We’re excited to celebrate and honor products and leaders making a difference in our industry at the inaugural CEAs luncheon,” said Indoor Ag-Con CEO Brian Sullivan. “The awards program highlights the cutting-edge work our industry leaders and innovators are doing to advance controlled environment agriculture.”

Paul Black, publisher of Inside Grower, emphasized the impact of the winners on the future of agriculture. “Their contributions are not only advancing technology and sustainability but also shaping the way we grow food for generations to come,” he said.

Indoor Ag-Con, founded in 2013, is the largest trade show and conference for vertical farming, greenhouses and CEA. It brings together industry professionals to discuss trends, technology and innovations in the sector.
