Accomplishments
What 3-4 professional and/or personal accomplishments are you most proud of?
- I co-created the inaugural Bonnie Leadership Program designed to teach participants how to lead themselves, lead others and lead Bonnie Plants as a whole.
- I am a certified Power B I Data Analyst.
- I built a self-service analytics tool (Power B I Reporting) from the ground up that is used by over 900 end users during peak season.
- I was chosen to speak at SQL Saturday Atlanta (a large conference for data professionals) about the Bonnie Plants data success story and how we have transformed from having basically no data to being a data-enriched company.
What led you to work in the horticulture industry?
- Bonnie Plants was recruiting at my alma mater, Auburn University, and delivered an awesome presentation about the future of data analytics at the company.
- I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to help build an organization’s data warehouse and reporting tools from the ground up. It’s always special when you’re the first to do something.
What’s the best thing about your job?
- Problem solving
Describe to a 6-year-old what you do in life?
- I work on the computer and tell farmers how to make money.

- Orangetheory Fitness classes

- Working on my master’s degree

- I am not very good at cooking, but I do make a pretty awesome Butterfinger cake.
