CCFC And Flower PR Launch Trendy ToolSource: Flower PR

Savvy retail florists and designers who want to stay on the cutting-edge of floral trends now have a new tool to help them do just that.

The California Cut Flower Commission (CCFC) and Flower PR have joined creative forces to launch the electronic version of The American Floral Trends Forecast 2008-2009, a free tool found at www.ccfc.org, the official Web site of the commission.

The tool is designed to keep people up-to-date with what’s chic in the world of flowers.

“Yes, flowers do go in and out of style and what is considered chic is constantly is constantly evolving,” said Janice Willis, program coordinator for CCFC.

The American Trends Forecast tool offers retailers and consumers ideas for combining colors, types of flowers and accent pieces to create holistic designs that reflect broader lifestyle trends in a changing world.

Visitors can experience the tool for themselves by logging onto www.ccfc.org/trends.html. Growers and retailers can still purchase the $10 booklets by calling (916) 441-1701.
