Selecta recently announced the release of its 2013 Selecta poinsettia catalog that includes product recommendations, growing guides and supplier lists.

Selecta recently announced the release of its 2013 Selecta poinsettia catalog, a 21-page resource that includes new plants and expert recommendations for greenhouse efficiency.

This year’s catalog focuses on Selecta’s “Foundation for Selection,” in which top-choice plants are bred for their appearance, reliability, plant structure and production efficiency.

The 2013 Poinsettia catalog features top-selling poinsettias, growing guides, supplier lists and more. Additionally, Gary Collmer, Selecta technical support manager, offers tips and suggestions for efficient production in his “Behind the Bracts” notes.

Two new varieties for 2013 include Christmas Joy and Christmas Glory.

Growers looking to produce the “best reds” for their region can find expert recommendations for top-performing red poinsettias in North America, timed to meet production schedules and retail delivery needs.

The catalog is a full-color resource that can be browsed online in the Literature section of www.selectanorthamerica.com.
