• Responsible for the planning and implementation of plant pathology evaluation trials evaluating fungicides and nematicides and developing disease management solutions for ornamental growers.
• Regularly presents at grower and distributor meetings to demonstrate different methods of controlling plant pathogens and cultivating a network of professionals in the ornamental industry.

Charles is an avid runner who belongs to two different running clubs. He even ran a two-mile race in under 11 minutes.

Charles’ favorite book is “Hawaii” by James Michener. “It is a historical fiction saga about the creation of Hawaii, the people, flora and fauna, and the multitude of factors that shaped the state spanning over centuries.”
