Sidney B. Meadows Scholarship Endowment Fund to award 12 $2,000 scholarships in 2023

The Sidney B. Meadows Scholarship Endowment Fund board of directors has approved the scholarship award levels for 2023, again to be $2,000 each and awarded to up to 12 students, who are residents of any of the Southeast 16 states.

Sidney B. Meadows Scholarship Endowment Fund and the Horticultural Research Institute (HRI) announced their collaboration in creating a common application form for their respective scholarship programs. This partnership will make it easier for students to apply for multiple scholarship programs at once and mitigate the time-consuming application process.

Students who are currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate ornamental horticulture program or related discipline at a four-year college-level institution in the U.S. and a resident of any of the 16 southeastern states may be eligible for this scholarship.

Applications will be accepted through June 1. Previous single-award recipients can apply for a second award (for a maximum of two awards). For questions about the scholarships and our requirements, email info@sbmsef.org.
