AmericanHort will host “A Women in Horticulture Interview” with Kay Jeong, corporate R&D manager for Sun Gro Horticulture, at 3 p.m. ET on Nov. 16. This is a free event for members and nonmembers.
Sun Gro Horticulture, North America is a large producer of horticulture growing media products. Through her position at Sun Gro, Jeong has shown her dedication to not only collaborating with industry partners, but also with research scientists at universities. Her ability to work with others can be seen through the development of sustainable and innovative products for professional growers.
During the interview, participants will learn how a study abroad program led to a career in the green industry, to work collaboratively and build professional relationships, remain up-to-date on the latest scientific data impacting growing media, and how important it is to give-back.
