Sakata Seed president receives AAS Medallion of Honor
Sakata Seed’s president Hiroshi Sakata has received this year’s All-America Selections (AAS) Medallion of Honor. The award ceremony took place at the AAS Summer Summit on Sept. 6 in Vancouver, Canada.
According to AAS, the annual Medallion of Honor is designed to recognize someone with a lifelong dedication to advancement in the field of horticulture
Hiroshi Sakata is the third member of Sakata Seed to receive the award, following founder Takeo Sakata and former senior managing director Shunichiro Suda.
