Star Roses and Plants has announced the upcoming North American release of the Martha Stewart Rose, a hybrid tea variety set to launch in 2026. Known for its apricot-pink blooms and citrus-honeysuckle fragrance, the rose is expected to appeal to horticulturists and greenhouse growers seeking high-quality ornamental plants.

The rose, bred by Meilland and originally introduced in Europe as Jean de la Fontaine, will be available to independent garden centers in 2026, with limited quantities of bare root plants currently offered online.

Martha Stewart, known for her love of gardening, collaborated with the company to create a rose reflecting her favorite qualities, including vibrant color, full blooms and a notable fragrance. “The Martha Stewart rose is a gift to gardeners everywhere who, like Martha, want to grow something beautiful and leave some of that beauty behind,” the company stated.

Growers interested in booking for 2026 can contact their Star Roses and Plants territory manager or call customer service at 800-457-1859 for further details.
