Fafard Inc. Announces New Production Facility
This fall, Fafard Inc. will be expanding its soilless media manufacturing capabilities with the addition of a third production plant in Marshall, Texas.
With facilities in Apopka, Fla., and Anderson, S.C., the company’s third United States production facility in Marshall, Texas’ Medco Industrial Park will be approximately 14,500 sq.ft. and will employ 12-15 employees initially with plans to grow the plant to over 40 employees. Marshall, in east Texas between Dallas and Shreveport, La., is centrally located to raw materials and is in close proximity to an interstate and railway. Fafard will produce all of its professional and retail mixes at this location and will also offer technical services as the two existing plants do.
