Four Star Greenhouse has hired a new logistics and customer fulfillment manager to its team, as well as a new product development manager.

Tom Brown is the new logistics and customer fulfillment manager. Brown will be responsible for the shipping, logistics and freight management functions of customer fulfillment, exceeding service level expectations.

Brown joins Four Star with more than 28 years of management experience in transportation, logistics and customer service, including operations, sales and third-party logistics.

Also, Josh Miller has been hired as the new product development manager. Miller will be responsible to evaluating new plant breeding and facilitating marketing and promotion of new products.

He comes to Four Star with 20 years of diverse experience in nursery production, management, horticulture and facility operations. He taught greenhouse management and urban horticulture and sustainability at Owens Community College, Ohio.

With his horticulture degree from Owens Community College, Josh was exposed to nursery production working as an intern at Willoway Nurseries. After working for established family greenhouse and nursery operations in Toledo, Ohio and Ann Arbor, Michigan, Joshed moved from the private sector to managing horticulture and facility operations at the Toledo Botanical Garden.
