What 3 to 4 professional and/or personal accomplishments are you most proud of?

• Creating my first TV commercial on Hulu.
• Being a part of the Gardening Simplified radio show.
• Obtaining my drone license.
• Making a digital billboard for Times Square.

What led you to work in the horticulture industry?

• I’ve always loved nature and animals. Growing up, we had a vegetable garden, and I loved learning about plants.
• Once I received my degree in film/video, I wanted a job that could tie in my love of nature with my desire to tell stories.
• I found my position at Spring Meadow Nursery right after college and the rest is history.

Describe to a 6-year-old what you do in life?

• I make videos about and take photos of plants to show people how cool they are.

What are your favorite hobbies?

• Stained glass 
• Camping and hiking 
• Gardening 
• Reading
  Watching movies

When you’re not working, what are 2 to 3 things we could find you doing?

• Hanging out with my two dogs and cats
• Going on a hike
• Working on glass

What are you (un)secretly good at?

• I am great at telling stories and making videos.

What are your top three bucket list items?

• Build my own stained glass shed
• Travel to as many places as possible
• Make my own full-length film

What’s your favorite plant variety and why?

• ‘Temple of Bloom’ Heptacodium miconioides. I love the year-long interest with white spring flowers, bright pink/red fall bracts and peeling bark. Not to mention this plant is always filled with pollinators.

You’re buying a vacation package to anywhere in the world without a budget, where are you going?

• Well, ideally, all over. It’s hard to pick one area — Croatia, Iceland, Scotland, Belgium — the list goes on. 

Do you have any unusual talents, or can you tell us something interesting about yourself that other people may be surprised to find out?

• In my free time, I like to make stained glass art.

One thing you can’t live without?

• Having at least one pet in my life.
